Management of the new XXL city hub

Management of the new XXL city hub

CTPark Amsterdam City

For CTPark Amsterdam City, Triple Group is responsible for the management of the realization of a large-scale emission-free city hub for the distribution of goods over the 'last mile', from and to the Amsterdam city centre.

Purpose

The client already had a detailed architectural and technical installation design for the city hub, but there was not yet a party that could take on the coordination of the construction. How wonderful is it that we get to do this?

Target

Realize an emission-free city hub with the BREEAM Excellent certificate of 110,000 m2, which can be expanded to 220,000 m2 by using intermediate floors. The BREAAM-NL Excellent certification means that this new construction project scores excellent on sustainability.

The city hub will be used by more (large) users for the distribution of their goods, each of whom will rent a part of the complex.

Approach

When we were approached for the role of project manager and supervisor, the design for the new building was already ready. We read up and were then able to start immediately with the tendering of the executing party. The contractor was contracted and construction started in April 2021. Meanwhile, CTPark is negotiating to recruit users of the city hub. That keeps it alive!

Result

The construction process is in full swing! The zero-emission city hub will be completed by the end of 2022. You can follow the construction live via the link to the website of CTPark Amsterdam City.
